Jill TomaselloJill Tomasello, PT, OCS, FADBA, Cert. MDT
Founder and Director

Jill is a 1987 graduate of Quinnipiac College. She has earned distinction as a Board Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopedics, a Fellow of the American Board of Disability Analysts, and is one of only 5000 therapists world-wide Credentialed in the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Treatment. Recently she earned Certification as a Workers Compensation Healthcare Provider by the International Sports Professionals Association.

Jill is a member of the Connecticut Physical Therapy Association, American Physical Therapy Association, the Orthopedic and Sports Section of the APTA, American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Therapists, McKenzie Institute, and the Occupational Injury Prevention and Rehabilitation Society.She is also the APTA Center Coordinator of Clinical Education.

Jill specializes in pediatric-orthopedics, sports medicine, industrial medicine and spine care. She is also a consultant in injury prevention for athletes, coaches and industry.

In addition, Jill was inducted into the Connecticut Volleyball Hall of Fame and the Connecticut Softball Hall of Fame. She participates in karate, women's ice hockey, biking, reading and writing.


John ChmielewskiJohn Chmielewski, MSPT, C-PWPE, Cert. MDT
Supervisor

John attended Sacred Heart University where he earned his Bachelor's of Science in Biology in 2001 and his Master of Science in Physical Therapy in 2003. For graduation, he performed research in evaluating balance outcome measures. John brings years of experience from the Rehabilitation Hospital of Rhode Island where he specialized in aquatic, orthopedic, neurologic, sports medicine and industrial rehabilitation. He is Credentialed in the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Treatment and is a Certified Physical Work Performance Evaluator. Recently he earned Certification as a Workers Compensation Healthcare Provider by the International Sports Professionals Association. He is also pursuing his Board Certification in Orthopedics and Certification in the Mulligan Method.

Additionally, John is a Credentialed Clinical Instructor through the APTA and the Center Coordinator of Clinical Education. He is member of the Connecticut Physical Therapy Association, American Physical Therapy Association, and the Orthopedic Section.

He is fluent in Polish and participates in karate and Gracie Jiu Jitsu.


Maureen MeehanMaureen "Mo" Meehan, PT, Cert. NDT
Senior Therapist

Mo is a 1988 graduate of the University of Kentucky. She has earned distinction as a Certified Neuro-Developmental Therapist. She brings extensive experience in geriatric and neurological experience from past positions in Honey Hill Care Center in Norwalk as well as Norwalk's Hospitals Advanced Center for Rehab Medicine outpatient facility. Mo's primary focus is in the area of geriatric, post stroke care, prosthetic training, Parkinson's Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, as well as other movement disorders.

Mo is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and Connecticut Physical Therapy Association. Her interests include gardening, walking and outdoor leisure activities. She is also a founding member of "The Friday Girls Team" whose fund-raising efforts benefit the Bennett Cancer Center.


Kimmery Geane, DPTKimmery Geane, DPT

Kimmery is a 2010 graduate of Ithaca College where she earned a Master's of Science and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy. While at Ithaca, she received numerous honors such as: the Graduate Professional Excellence Award, the New York Physical Therapy Association Student Participation Award, the Undergraduate Professional Excellence Award, Phi Kappa Phi Honors Society, Peggy Williams Award for Academic and Community Leadership, Dean's List, Oracle honors Society, Empire 8 President's List and the President's Scholarship.

For her doctorate, Kimmery presented research titled "Baseball Swing Mechanics" which investigated effects of training devices on high school baseball athletes' hip motion related to swing mechanics and strength. She was also the President of Ithaca College's Unbound Dance Company that produced two performances a year. She combines her love of dance with therapy as she specializes in foot/ankle rehabilitation and dance medicine.

Kimmery is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, Connecticut Physical Therapy Association and Orthopedic Section. Kimmery is also a Pilates and Dance instructor.


Kate McKeown, DPT

Kate earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy Degree in 2011 from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ). During her studies at UMDNJ, she was involved in a research project on "A woman's level of self-efficacy and its relationship to beliefs and practice of exercise" that was displayed at the NJ Annual Physical Therapy conference in 2009. Prior to PT school, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Rhode Island in 2006.

Kate's clinical experience includes: ICU-PT at the University of Michigan Hospital; pediatric rehab for special needs students in NJ elementary and high schools; inpatient hospital rehabilitation; and an outpatient orthopedic facility in NYC. Kate is a member of the Connecticut Physical Therapy Association, the American Physical Therapy Association and the Orthopedic Section.

Kate was an avid rower in high school and college and served as the Assistant Women's Rowing Coach at Rutgers University from 2006-2008. She now enjoys running events including half marathons and most recently the 2010 and 2011 NYC marathons.


Kelsey Brewer, DPT

Kelsey is a 2010 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh where she earned a Doctorate of Physical Therapy. Previously she earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Juniata College. Her past work experience included outpatient orthopedics with emphasis on post-operative care. In addition, her clinical experience included inpatient rehabilitation, outpatient therapy and senior care.

Kelsey's collegiate activities included: Tri-Beta biological Society,Phi Alpha Theta History Honors Society, Special Olympics volunteer. She was also a co-researcher in Behavior Neuroscience Research under Dr. Jay Hosler.
